Abstract: Using photos, the presenter provides practical information about making homes more functional, citing examples of what other people with spinal cord injury (SCI) have done to make their homes or apartments accessible. Accessing the home from the outside (entries, ramps, and gardens); bedrooms and bathrooms; kitchens and home offices; and indoor modifications (switches, doorknobs, storage, and thresholds); are discussed.
