- Browse disability resources – these pages feature carefully selected agencies, organizations, and online resources organized by topic (i.e., employment, advocacy) and by disability area (i.e., intellectual and developmental disabilities). Our information specialists use these lists every day to connect patrons to community supports and services.
- Find events in the community - our Calendars of Events list national observances, conferences, events hosted by NIDILRR grantees, and a calendar of when we are presenting or exhibiting in the community.

Order the Life Skills Manual
NARIC is the only source for the Life Skills Manual: Strategies for Maintaining Residential Stability, developed by Christine Helfrich, PhD, OTR/L under several NIDILRR grants. The four-part curriculum was developed in response to a lack of resources available for adults who desire to learn practical life skills to live independently in the community, particularly those with psychiatric disabilities. It is intended to provide the content and resources needed to teach life skills to a wide variety of individuals who need assistance in this area. It can be used by occupational therapists, counselors, and others in group settings. The curriculum includes manuals for facilitators and participants.
