CIRRIE International Research Collection

NARIC's Disability and Rehabilitation Literature Database (REHABDATA) includes a substantial amount of international research, originally collected by the NIDILRR-funded Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information and Exchange (CIRRIE) for more than 15 years. More than 115,000 abstracts were moved from CIRRIE to NARIC, who continued to collect publications from international research until 2023.

The items in the international research collection have NARIC accession numbers beginning with I (for example I166248). Items may include those published in other languages but only those added in 2016 and after will have an abstract in English in the database.  Other international research published in English are added to the database with accession numbers beginning with J (for example J72526).

The literature by topic pages include international research. If you would like to limit your search results to only those published in English, search the database and select "No, exclude international research". For a broader search experience, select YES to include international research records in your search results. Additional filtering options will appears so you can narrow your search results to specific countries or languages for the international research collection.

International research publications may or may not be available for document delivery. Please contact an information specialist for more information.
