The report addresses the accessibility of mobility device users’ homes and larger environments, demonstrating that improvements in physical accessibility remain a priority for millions of mobility device users. Report 12: The Employment Experience of Persons with Limitations in Physical Functioning (1999).
Published by NIDRR. An analysis of the 1996 California Work and Health Survey, this report describes the differences between persons with and without physical disabilities over a wide range of employment characteristics, including the qualitiative aspects of employment: job content, job satisfaction, and expectations of future employment, among the two groups. The Disability Statistics Report 11: A Profile of Adults Needing Assistance with Activities of Daily Living, 1991-1992 (1997).

Provides a profile of the noninstitutionalized adult population needing assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) and estimates the size of the population eligible for federal personal assistance services benefits under difference ADL, income, and age criteria.
