Abstract: Study to determine the effectiveness of the self directed group as a resource for vocational rehabilitation, to identify the critical dimensions of effectiveness in self directed as compared to professionally directed groups, to assess the effectiveness of various types of structuringthe groups, and to provide a set of procedures for use by self directed small groups. Included are two taped programs used by the groups: "VIP (Vocational Improvement Program), A Program of Interpersonal Exercises for Small Groups" by B. Berzon and L N Solomon, copyright 1966, 12 sessions on 6 tapes; and "PEER (Planned Experience for Effective Relating) A Program of Interpersonal Exercises for Small Groups" by B. Berzon and J Reisel, copyright 1967, 10 sessions on 6 tapes. Also includes a transcript of the tapes (PEER 58 p VIP 56 p) and Operations Manuals, which describe the programs and tell how to organize groups (PEER 26 p VIP 26 p).
