Habilitation
Scope Notes: Establishment of fundamental capabilities, knowledge, experiences, and attitudes before or along with the usual rehabilitation procedures; includes process of providing specific learning experiences for those persons with physical or mental disabilities who have been isolated from such experiences, so they can become aware of and develop their potential.
