RERC on wheelchair transportation safety crash tests.
Abstract: This series of videos show the simulation of a wheelchair and occupant experiencing a 30mph/20g sled test (the wheelchair and crash dummy experience a 30 mile per hour change in velocity and a deceleration equal to 20 times the force of gravity). Each segment shows the contribution of one aspect of transportation safety technology: 4-point wheelchair securement, 3-point occupant restraint, and the use of a WC19-compliant wheelchair.

Systematic review of research on community participation by people with disabilities. Setting the research agenda.
Abstract: Video describes how literature review helps set the research agenda related to people with disabilities and their participation in the community. Author discusses how academic and applied research takes a number of different tacks toward producing products that are useful to people in the community and strategies and measures that researchers are using including static kinds of measures that are simplistic to interactive measures that are more complex to dynamic measures that are quite sophisticated.

TBI and its implications: A training video for continuing education for paramedics & emergency medical technicians II
Abstract: Video features signs and symptoms of people with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and how they may influence first responder’s management of people with these injuries. Interviews with medical staff, TBI survivors and their family members provide in depth information on the symptoms of cognitive/language and behavioral/emotional disabilities that can develop because of a TBI. Topics discussed include: memory loss, personality traits, inappropriate behavior, outbursts, impulsivity, disinhibition, and sexual emotions.
