Is there money to help me start a business?
There are several resources available to help you start your business, find funding, and build your network.
- The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) has links to resources in each state for economic development and funding.
- The US Small Business Administration (SBA) has loan programs available for people starting their own businesses and a state by state guide available online. On the SBA website, you can enter your zip code in the bix on the top right to find resources in your local area.
- The Office of Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provides assistance to current and prospective small business owners by providing a wide variety of information and guidance.
- Disability.gov also has great resources for people with disabilities who want to start their own businesses.
- The US Business Leadership Network is a great resource for entrepreneurs and established business owners with and without disabilities to connect.
